Executive Board Bio's

Presidents

Richard DevineIs Co-President of Lakeland Jr. Soccer.  He and his wife have lived in Wanaque for 22 years and have two sons. Both sons have played both Rec and Travel from kindergarten through eighth grade (U9 - D2).  They now attend college and high school (PCTI).  Richard has been the head coach of multiple Rec and Travel teams for each of the past ten years.  His teams have won several flight championships.  In addition to his role with Lakeland Jr. Soccer, Richard is still heavily involved with Wanaque Rec Soccer - recruiting and training referees, coaching several teams, and helping run the snack stand.  Richard, and his oldest son, both hold USSF referee certifications.  In Richard's spare time, he is the Field Supervisor for a Large Commercial  HVAC Service/Industrial Company but still somehow finds a way not to be on call during soccer games.

Amin ZahrIn addition to being Co-President, Amin is also Co-Treasurer.
Amin, graduate in the top 1% of his class, with a degree in economics and finance, from Baruch College in Manhattan, where he was the school's star volleyball player.  He got his MBA from NYU and went on to work at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup.
Wait, wait, that's not Amin's bio, it's George Santos' and this is Remy just having a little fun.  This article will be updated shortly with Amin's true bio.

When not at the soccer field Gary is a Librarian and Professor at William Paterson University. Gary is also President of the NJ Library Association for Colleges & Universities and the President of the NJ Chapter of the Intl. Association of College & Research Libraries.

Jeff Vogel

Jeff and his wife have lived in Ringwood for 16 years and have two children.  Their daughter played both Rec and Travel for Ringwood and is currently playing high school soccer at PCTI and Club for Stateline.  His son has played Rec, Travel and Club and is currently playing U13 and Club for Stateline.  This will be Jeff's 9th year coaching Rec and/or Travel and his second year on the Executive Board.  Jeff is also a licensed USSF referee.  In addition to soccer, Jeff is also able to fit in a day-job running an IT company.

Secretary:

Lauren Daniell- Lauren and her husband reside in Cupsaw Lake. Although she did not grow up in this area, her husband was a lifelong resident of Wanaque prior to moving to Cupsaw. Their children both play recreation and travel sports, where Lauren has coached for both programs. In addition to being one of the current U9 Boys coaching staff, she also heads the Rising Stars program, a clinic style program for younger children to work on skill building and develop their love for soccer at an early age. Lauren also assists in running our social media pages. Outside of the soccer program, Lauren assists many in achieving their best version of themselves as a Psychotherapist and School Counselor.
