Welcome to Lakeland Jr. Soccer Club Recreation Soccer Program!

Lakeland Jr. Recreation Soccer is open to all Wanaque residents (out of town friends are also welcomed).  We have a Fall Recreational program for children from age 3 to 8th grade. 

Rec Soccer is about having fun - the players, the parents, and the coaches, and learning the game of soccer in a relaxed atmosphere.

DETAILS

• Our recreation program runs late August to the end of October, sometimes early November.

• Games are on Saturday's and begin the Saturday after Labor Day. 
  
• All games are at Back Beach Park. (Some games may be played at other fields if necessary)
• Teams are aggregated by grade level and are established in late July or early August.
• Pre-K through 2nd grade teams are co-ed.
• 3rd grade and above will have gender specific teams. Unless restricted by low registration numbers.
• Each team should play eight (8) games, weather permitting.  
• Teams typically practice one night a week - the specific night and time depends on your child's coach.
• Volunteer to coach, our program is volunteer based and we support volunteer coaches with training and guidance. 
• Jerseys are included in the registration cost.
• Most games are played Saturday mornings, or early afternoon.  We sometimes play a week-night night game as the players like to play under the lights.  We have occasionally play games on Sundays. 

Players must wear shin-guards and cleats (cleats are optional, but recommended for pre-K & K players).

The snack stand will be open all Saturdays, and some weeknights.   The snack stand takes cash, credit cards and Venmo.

Children are not assigned to teams until mid-August.
